Ordering Information

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept most major credit cards, and provide net ten day terms to commercial accounts upon credit approval.

Q. What are your business hours

Customer Service is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. (PST).  Please call us toll-free at 800-818-2462.

Q.  How soon will my order be delivered?

Whether you are looking for a stock item or a one-of-a-kind custom design, Chocolates a la Carte prides itself on our ability to quickly get that item to your door.  The following lead times are estimations based on the type of product being ordered:

Same Day Items

Our most popular products are available to ship the same day you place your order.  Just have your order to us by 2:00 PM (PST), and we’ll ship them out to you that day.  Same Day items are noted in the catalog with a (for seasonal) by the item number.

Made to Order Items

Most of our more than 3000 designs cannot be stocked in our warehouse and are therefore, “made to order”.  Production of these items begins when you place your order.  Just tell us what you need, and the item will be shipped to you in 3 business days in most cases.  All catalog items are Made to Order unless otherwise noted.

Custom Items

Items with special packaging, silkscreen(s), engraving(s), and custom molding may require additional manufacturing time.  Typically 15 business days for custom mold designs.  Silkscreened and/or Engraved chocolates usually require 5 business days after artwork has been approved by you.  Certain custom orders may require a deposit.  Call your Business Development Representative for specific delivery and pricing information.

Q.  Will I receive an order acknowledgment?

Customers may provide an email address or fax number to receive an order acknowledgment.  Order acknowledgments will be sent shortly after we have received your order.  Please review the order acknowledgment for accuracy and immediately present any inquiries, changes or corrections to your Business Development Representative so that we may best meet your needs.

Q.  How can I cancel my order?

We cannot accept cancellations or decreases in quantities for “Made to Order” or “Custom” products once the order has gone into production.  In addition, cancellations of “Custom” orders are subject to artwork and/or mold setup charges.

Q.  Do you have a minimum order?

Minimum order for most products is two cases.  However single cases of certain items may be available at a 15% surcharge.

Q.  What is your return policy?

If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact a Business Development Representative within 48 hours of receipt of the product for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.  Product returned without an RMA number will not be accepted.  A cancellation fee may be assessed against returned goods.  Ask your Business Development Representative for details. 

Q.  What are your setup fees for custom orders?

Below are some of the setup fees for our most common custom orders.  Please call your Business Development Representative for specific setup information and pricing on your order:

Silkscreening

Set-up charge for silk-screening one color is $118.00.  After the first color, there is a $31.00 per color charge for each additional color.

Embossing (for Packaging)

Set-up charge for one color is $90.00.  There is an additional $28.00 per color charge for each additional color.

Custom Molds

Set-up costs for custom molds start at $200.00.  Please call for a quote on the set up charges for custom molds and engraved bars or discs.
