To honor over 4,000 years of Chinese tradition, the company created a chocolate line featuring the twelve Chinese Zodiac animals, designed by Grasshopper Creations. The products were launched for the 1995 "Year of the Boar" celebration. Since releasing the new line, Chocolates ö la Carte is pleased with the initial sales and believes it has created a new market for its chocolate products.
