New
Line of Products Inspired by Famed Pastry Chefs Launched
Chocolates à la Carte is excited about it's new line of signature
products, the "Chocolate Plaquette Collection." This exclusive
line was developed by noted pastry chefs Sebastien Canonne and Jacquy
Pfeiffer, owners of the French Pastry School in Chicago.
These thin, delicate European chocolate accent pieces can be used on
dessert plates or cakes to
create elegant and imaginative designs. Plaquetts are available in a variety
of shapes (squares, rectangles, circles, etc.), flavors of chocolate,
and styles (dark, milk, white, marbled, splattered and scribbled). Both
Canonne and Pfeiffer have world-class pastry backgrounds. They trained
in France and have worked in prestigious pastry shops and hotels in Europe
and the United States. They also have prepared desserts for royal and
presidential families in France and Brunei. Before founding the French
Pastry School in 1997, Canonne was the executive pastry chef at the Ritz-Carlton
in Chicago and Pfeiffer was the executive pastry chef at the Sheraton
Chicago Hotel & Towers.
The Chocolate Plaquette Collection is the first in this line of pastry
chef-inspired signature products. There will be more creations in the
